Violence or abuse directed towards any healthcare staff member will not be tolerated and may result in a FELONY conviction in accordance with R.S. 14:38 or other applicable criminal laws. It is the responsibility of our healthcare workers to be attentive and respectful to our patients in their times of need, and we ask patients and their loved ones to extend the same courtesy to our healthcare workers.
